Six TNT swimmers competed at the 2005 Southeastern Long Course Swimming Championships, July 21 - 24 in Nashville, TN. TNT swimmers performed well, establishing 5 New Team Records, 5 Improved Time Standards, and achieving 19 Personal Best Times.
Congratulations to Will Anderson, who won a gold medal, finishing 1st place in the 10 & under 50 meter backstroke. Will also won medals in the 200 IM (3rd), 50 free (3rd), 400 free (4th), 100 free (4th), and100 back( 4th). His time of 5:25.08 in the 400 freestyle, 2:56.26 in the 200 IM, and 36.76 in the 50 backstroke were new TNT team records. Will also achieved a new AAA time in the 200 IM.
Lauren Kinsey, achieved 5 personal best times in six events: 400 free, 200 IM, 100 back, 100 fly, and 200 free. Her time of 2:58.13 in the 200 free was a new 10 & under girls TNT team record. Lauren also achieved new A times in the 200 free and 200 IM.
Another new TNT team record was set by Jordan Doucet in the 10 & under girls 200 IM with a time of 3:18.29.
Ben Hodde had 4 personal best times in the 200 IM, 50 back, 200 free, and 50 fly. His time in the 200 free and 200 IM were new A times.
Adele Mantiply achieved a personal best time in the 100 breastroke and added another by splitting her race with her fastest 50 time.
Daniel Doucet also contributed to the team effort, competing in the 11-12 boys 50 breastroke.
