TNT Developmental Meet
October 23, 2010
Bounds YMCA
Twelve TNT level 1 and 2 swimmers participated in the first Developmental Meet of the year, October 23 at the Bounds YMCA. The swimmers participated in one length races and learned many meet procedures, including: Lining up in heats behind the blocks, making sure their cap and goggles were on prior to stepping up, finishing races legally, asking the timers for their times and reporting their times to the coach.
They also learned about how much fun a swim meet can be with their parents, teammates and coaches cheering for them, getting high fives at the end of a race, and of course, a post meet snack.
Swimmers who achieved improved times include: Andrew Fouty, 25 free, 25 back, 25 breast; Sadie Hunter, 25 free, 25 breast; Erin Lassare, 25 free, 25 back; David Parks, 25 free, 25 back; Sam Scott, 25 free, 25 back; Valerie Smith, 25 breast.
